Critical: PunctualityThe first time I went to this shop many months ago, there was no one there and they didn't answer the phone. Well, I learned that the shop had been sold. So I took my diesel RV for an oil change and check-up with the new owners. Very nice indeed. They did what I asked, checked to make sure all was working well, and charged me reasonably. I had one of my mechanic friend try to fix my 2003 F450 because it had a crank but wouldn't turn over and start. I ended up buying new battery and put in a new starter but the truck still didn't start. Feeling frustrated, I googled a Diesel repair shop and The Diesel Shop. I called up the diesel shop and spoke to Jay...and had my Truck towed to the shop. 2 days went by and Jay called me told me that he was able to diagnose the problem and it was the AC Belt that was torn and struck that's why the engine wasn't able to turn over. Jay gave me a quote, if i wanted his shop to do the AC.I spoke to my wife and we decided that we are not in a financial position to fix it now. I asked Jay...What do I owe his shop for the diagnostic and such fee....He stated that I didn't owe him anything for the diagnostic...WoW!!!It's hard to believe that he said that...a honest and humble man which is rare these days in age. I highly recommend this place for anyone thinking of getting their cars or trucks diagnose and fix. The new owners at The Diesel Shop are great. They took care of the issue I had right away. They fixed it right the first time and were fair on the price.
